Ready for a little story?Back in my college days, I didn’t think I could cook. I once accidentally put a tablespoon of salt in a batch of homemade cookies. The recipe called for a teaspoon. Whoops.You can imagine they didn’t taste very good. Because of this, I convinced myself that I just didn’t know what I was doing and should stay far away from the kitchen. 

I think there is a little life lesson in there… we sometimes buy into lies about ourselves that just aren’t true.

At any rate… I took a break from cooking for awhile.Thankfully, I decided to give it another go in the kitchen.I’m so glad I did… because cooking is truly a passion for me.

After my brief hiatus, I went back to spending a lot of time in the kitchen and started experimenting recipes.
